Chrysalis

From every creation or every project an image is created. This orphan image, realization of a dream or a simple thought, will determine if a series can be started. The orphan may not take  part of the series, but will be a strong image which will not be forgotten.

By combining all these images, Anoush Abrar, discovers that curiously they create their own story and form their own series.

The work of an artist changes, is transformed, evolves; year after year it’s being modified and inspired of life. All these images are like a connecting thread which show this transformation. They are sketches left by the artist, comparable to the sketches of the painter before the realization of his work.

“Chrysalis” is a combination of unique images over ten years. Put together they give a new perspective onto the work of the artist as time goes by.
